About The Cub Club Daycare
The Cub Club Daycare opened in 2011 and is a licensed, in-home daycare which focuses on nurturing your child's quest for knowledge. At The Cub Club we look at every opportunity as a way to learn something new.
My name is Jennifer Niessen and my husband, Brady and I, live about 1 mile north of the Rush City High School. We have a 11 year old son Jaxon, 14 year old daughter Clara, and a 17 year old son Braden.
I am Parent Aware 3 star rated and strive to continue my childcare education through a variety of courses, both required and voluntary. I believe in natural, free play and encourage children to use their imaginations. We spend many hours outside running and dancing and building (pretend) fires with sticks. Our time indoors is generally child led and open; play is learning. I am continuing to learn and study and believe children need to have the fundamentals of play prior to (many) years in school. I an currently enrolled in North American Montessori Center and plan to have my diploma February 2025. I am excited to use this knowledge during our days
The Cub Club Daycare focuses on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute so much to the child’s development, self esteem, and confidence.
I strive to work with the families in care. I provide healthy, home-cooked meals, am Red 40 dye free, cloth diaper friendly, and love to have a great time with the kids!
